There he discovers a magical secret and befriends a group of peculiar children. When it becomes apparent that the children are in danger, Jacob must use his own peculiar powers to help keep them safe.
Booktalk: "Find the bird. In the loop. On the other side of the old man's grave. September third, 1940." These words are the last thing Jacob's grandfather ever says to him, and they make about as much sense to him as they make to you and me. But it's these words that start Jacob on a journey, to Wales, to an abandoned orphanage, to a time loop, and to some very peculiar people in some very grave danger. Interspersed with peculiar photographs, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children will fascinate you and leave your spine tingling.
